Michael J. Fox: Finding Peace and Comfort at Home

Michael J. Fox, known for his iconic roles and resilient spirit, has transformed his home into a sanctuary. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at 29, Fox finds comfort and therapy in his home. Now 63, he continues to inspire fans, hinting at a possible return to acting.

In October 2022, Fox reunited with his “Back to the Future” co-star Christopher Lloyd at New York Comic Con, touching fans with their emotional embrace.

Fox’s journey with Parkinson’s began shortly after his marriage to Tracy Pollan. The couple, who met on the set of “Family Ties,” have faced the disease with strength and humor. Tracy has been a pillar of support, helping Fox navigate his diagnosis while raising their family.

Fox’s passion for unique homes started in his youth, leading him to build a dream home in Connecticut in 1997. This 72-acre property became a therapeutic retreat, featuring six bedrooms, a guest room, and a fishing hut. In 2016, Fox and Tracy listed the mansion and now cherish their Manhattan apartment.

Their four children have supported Fox throughout his journey, helping raise awareness about Parkinson’s. Despite retiring from acting in 2020, Fox remains open to new roles, finding fulfillment in projects like the Apple TV+ documentary “Still,” which chronicles his life with Parkinson’s.

Fox’s home stands as a testament to the love and resilience that define his life, providing a foundation of strength and peace.
