A Chance Encounter at the Truck Stop

An elderly gentleman sat quietly, enjoying his meal at a bustling truck stop. The atmosphere was lively, with the sounds of engines roaring and the chatter of travelers filling the air. Suddenly, the door swung open, and three burly bikers strode in, their rough demeanor commanding attention.

As they made their way past the old man, the first biker callously stubbed out his cigarette in the gentleman’s pie, letting out a hearty laugh as he took a seat at the counter. The second biker, seemingly determined to outdo his companion, picked up the old man’s glass of milk and spat into it. The third biker then flipped over the gentleman’s plate, joining his friends at the counter.

The old man, however, didn’t flinch. Without uttering a word to the rowdy bikers, he calmly laid down his payment, rose from his seat, and exited the diner. One of the bikers, still chuckling, turned to the waitress and sneered, “I guess that old guy wasn’t much of a man, huh?”

The waitress, a sly smile spreading across her face, replied, “I’d say he’s not much of a truck driver either.” She paused for a moment before adding, “He just backed his big rig over three motorcycles!” The bikers’ faces fell as they rushed out of the diner, only to be met with the devastating sight of their crushed bikes.
