Twenty-five years have passed since Dylan and Cole Sprouse captured our hearts with their adorable performances as identical twin boys. From sharing roles in commercials and TV shows to becoming teenage heartthrobs, the Sprouse twins have grown into handsome and talented 30-year-old men.
Born in 1992, the twins began their acting career at just eight months old, sharing roles in various projects due to child labor laws. Their breakout role came in the TV comedy series “Grace Under Fire,” where they played the son of Brett Butler’s character from 1993 to 1998. The twins’ perfectly timed lines and playful performance stole the show in the 1999 comedy film “Big Daddy,” starring Adam Sandler.
As they grew older, the twins began to develop their unique personalities, which would eventually lead them to pursue separate careers. In 2000, Cole played the role of Ben in the hit TV series “Friends,” marking the first time he acted without his brother. Cole has fond memories of working on “Friends,” including his crush on co-star Jennifer Aniston.
The twins reunited on screen in 2002, sharing the role of Pistachio Disguisey in the film “Master of Disguise.” They then landed the starring roles of Zach and Cody in the Emmy-nominated Disney show “The Suite Life of Zach & Cody,” which ran from 2005 to 2008.
After the show ended, the twins attended New York University, where Dylan studied video game design and Cole studied humanities and archaeology. Cole returned to television in 2017, playing the lead role of Jughead Jones in the supernatural drama TV series “Riverdale.” Dylan, on the other hand, has been voicing video game characters and is engaged to Sports Illustrated model Barbara Palvin.
Despite their separate careers, the twins remain close. In a 2020 interview, Dylan mentioned that he might write a project for them to work on together in the future. For now, fans can’t wait to see what the Sprouse twins do next.
