Over the weekend Lopez glowed with pride at her child’s high school graduation.

The singer has 18-year-old twins, who were christened Max and Emme Muniz, with her third ex-husband, Marc Anthony.

Then, in June 2022, when the youngsters were 14, Lopez went viral after introducing Emme onstage as ‘they,’ indicating a nonbinary identification.

The Daily Mail has seen a public announcement that shows the teenager, formerly known as Emme, now goes by ‘he’ and revealed a new male name at the graduation.

The teenager’s father did not appear to be in attendance.

Also on the guest list was Samuel Affleck, the 14-year-old son of Lopez’s fourth ex-husband Ben Affleck and his first wife Jennifer Garner.

The beauty flashed a bright smile

Although Lopez and Affleck’s marriage was short-lived, with the divorce filing landing on what would have been their second wedding anniversary, the former couple were able to form a close-knit blended family with their respective children.

Garner reportedly served as part of Lopez’s support system as the latter navigated the disintegration of her marriage to Affleck.

Affleck and Garner, who were married for a decade before their separation in 2015, have three children: Violet, 20, and Fin, 17, and Samuel.

Fin was originally called Seraphina Rose before debuting the new name in 2024 while delivering a eulogy for Affleck’s father, Timothy.

Lopez’s twins did not attend the same high school and will be going to different universities.

The graduation took place just days after Lopez fought back tears at the prospect of her children moving out of her vast $18 million mansion.

‘Don’t talk about it, I’ll start crying,’ the singer said when the subject was broached to her last week on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

She confessed she had been ‘crying for two months’ at the thought of the twins leaving and would be in tears once again at their graduations.

It was recently revealed that Lopez’s teenager, formerly known as Emme, now goes by ‘he’ and has a new male name; The two seen in 2025

The twins’ father, Anthony, is expecting his eighth child, the second with his latest wife, Nadia Ferreira, a beauty queen three decades his junior.

When Kimmel asked Lopez whether she found it ‘inconvenient’ for her children to attend separate high schools, she waved off the question.

‘I mean, it’s fine,’ she said. ‘I want them to be happy. Go where they want to go, do what they want to do.’

She insisted she would be helping her teenagers move into their dorm rooms, notwithstanding what Kimmel described as the ‘commotion everywhere you go.’

‘We’re going to pack up their rooms here, and they’re going to take all the things that they want to take to their dorm,’ said Lopez.

‘Then they’re going to realize that their dorms are too small,’ she quipped. ‘They’re going to miss home. I hope they want to come back real soon.’
