In 1983, Patricia Clarke gave birth to a baby boy who would make headlines across the country. Kevin Robert Clark weighed an astonishing 16 pounds at birth, setting a record at Community Memorial Hospital in New Jersey.
As a result of his massive size, Kevin’s early life was far from ordinary. He couldn’t fit into standard-sized cribs, and his baby clothes were too small for him. Despite the challenges, Kevin was a healthy baby, much to the relief of his parents.
As he grew older, Kevin continued to turn heads. By the time he was 12, he stood at an impressive 5 feet 7 inches tall. By junior high, he had grown to 6 feet 5 inches, and he just kept growing.
Today, Kevin is a 39-year-old man who stands at an incredible 6 feet 9 inches tall. Despite the constant attention and questions about his height, Kevin has learned to live with his unique size. He even jokes about it, saying he’s 5-foot-21 and asking people if they play miniature golf when they inquire about his basketball skills.
Kevin’s life has been anything but ordinary, but he seems to be handling the attention with ease. After serving in the military, Kevin now lives with his 6-foot-tall wife and their Great Dane. He’s learned to take his unusual size in stride and is living a happy and fulfilling life.
