Measuring an impressive 4.4 centimeters in length, this insect was detected just a few kilometers from where it was initially identified in 2019.
The “murder hornet” is a formidable predator that can wipe out entire beehives with its powerful mega mandibles. These hornets can kill and decapitate thousands of bees, taking over the hive and defending it as their own.
