A Wedding Night to Remember for All the Wrong Reasons

My wedding day was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. But little did my husband, Greg, know that I had a secret that would change everything. As I stood at the altar, smiling and exchanging vows with him, I couldn’t help but think about the surprise I had in store for him later that night.

The reception was a whirlwind of champagne toasts, laughter, and dancing. Greg’s parents, Marianne and James, beamed with pride as they watched their son and his new bride celebrate their union. But I knew that the facade of happiness and perfection would soon come crashing down.

As the night wore on, Greg’s anticipation for our wedding night grew. He couldn’t wait to get me alone and start our new life together. But I had other plans.

As we finally made our way to the master suite, Greg’s excitement was palpable. He closed the door behind us and began to unzip my wedding dress. I stood still, my heart racing with anticipation, as he slowly revealed the secret I had been hiding.

A gasp escaped his lips as he stumbled backward, his eyes wide with shock and horror. The tattoo of his ex, Sarah, stretched across my torso, a permanent reminder of his infidelity. The words he had spoken to her the night before our wedding were etched beneath her face, a cruel reminder of his betrayal.

Greg’s face crumpled as he fell to his knees, sobbing uncontrollably. His parents, who had been waiting outside the room, burst in, their faces etched with concern and shock. Marianne’s eyes widened as she took in the sight of the tattoo, her face pale with horror.

James’s face darkened with anger, his eyes blazing with fury as he glared at his son. “You’ve disgraced this family,” he spat, his voice low and menacing. “How dare you? How could you betray Lilith like this?”

Greg’s sobs grew louder as he begged for forgiveness, but I was unmoved. I had been betrayed, and there was no going back. I turned to Marianne and James, my voice steady and calm. “I’m leaving. You can deal with him now.”

As I walked out of the room, I felt a sense of liberation wash over me. I was free from the lies, free from the betrayal. Greg’s cries echoed through the house, but I didn’t look back. I was done.
