One of Pornhub’s most searched for categories of 2024 centres around office co-workers

It’s that time of year again – Christmas is just around the corner, the New Year is nigh and Pornhub is publishing its annual stats.

The X-rated website takes December as an opportunity to look back on the trends, performers and preferences which were the most popular over the last 12 months.

It’s essentially quite similar to Spotify Wrapped, but the ‘Year in Review’ focuses on sex rather than songs.

Pornhub’s biggest trends of 2024
After sifting through billions of searches made by users around the world, Pornhub made some interesting observations about its users’ palate for porn in 2024.

It seems as though a large part of the global population have fantasised about copping off with a colleague, as this was a leading trend on the site throughout the last year.

Coming only behind ‘demure desires’ and ‘the secret lives of Pornhub wives’, it seems that there was a big swing towards ‘co-worker crushes’ in 2024.

So, why are people searching for ‘co-worker crushes’ on Pornhub?
Well, experts reckon it’s all down to a lot of people transitioning back into office life this year after working from home became the norm during the pandemic.

You might get extra time in bed in the morning and can avoid an exhausting commute, but if you’re not physically in the workplace, you’re starved of swooning over someone.

It seems that a lot of people have missed having a harmless flirt with their fellow employees over the last few years, hence why it was such a popular trend on Pornhub in 2024.

The website explained: “With many white-collar companies developing hybrid working conditions, or returning to in-office entirely, people may have started to develop work crushes again.

“It’s one thing being behind a screen in meetings, but when you’re back in the office, those sparks might turn into flames. And our statisticians saw this unfolding in real time.”

Crunching the numbers

Searches for the term ‘co-worker’ rose by a whopping 92 percent, ‘sex in the office’ spiked by 31 percent, ‘workplace fantasy’ increased by 57 percent and ‘workplace orgy’ shot up by 19 percent.

As well as this, searches for ‘f**ing coworker’ jumped by 69 percent, ‘co-worker bl*wjob’ rocketed by 55 percent, ‘office affair’ surged by 25 percent and ‘cheating co-worker’ increased by 71 percent.

So as you can see, it appears as though workplace rendezvous – or at least the idea of them – have made quite the comeback post-Covid.
