The online community is mourning the loss of Preston Ordone, the two-year-old son of popular TikTok family vloggers Katelynn and Jaelan Ordone. Preston, affectionately known as the “Okay Baby,” tragically died in a car accident on April 24 that involved his entire family.
The Accident
According to authorities, the family’s 2011 Ford F-150 truck veered off the road and struck a tree in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. Despite efforts to save him, Preston succumbed to his critical injuries. His parents, Katelynn and Jaelan, were hospitalized with serious injuries, including multiple broken bones and emergency surgery.
Tributes and Memories
Friends and fellow TikTok creators Melanie and Carson Matranga paid tribute to Preston’s life and legacy. In a heartfelt video message, they reflected on the toddler’s impact on those around him, saying, “He made people smile, laugh, I know you guys looked forward to seeing him every day.” Carson Matranga added a touching farewell, imagining Preston exploring heaven with joy, “running up and down the streets of gold” and “jumping and dancing in mud”.

The Ordone family’s 7-year-old daughter, Paisley, was not involved in the accident, having been at school at the time.
