Mysterious Amazon Deliveries Piled Up at Woman’s Home for Over a Year

For more than a year, Kay from San Jose, California, received hundreds of Amazon parcels filled with faux-leather car seat covers. Unlike most people who enjoy surprise deliveries, Kay was overwhelmed and confused by the constant stream of identical packages.

She found out the shipments came from a Chinese seller, Liusandedian. Customers who returned seat covers that didn’t fit were supposed to send them back to the seller’s return center, but the return labels listed Kay’s address instead. This caused a massive buildup of unwanted returns at her home.

Kay contacted Amazon, but the deliveries didn’t stop. The packages cluttered her driveway and even blocked her disabled mother’s access to the house. Amazon allegedly suggested donating or mailing back the packages, but later denied this.

Amazon’s rules require international sellers to provide a U.S. return address or offer refunds without returns. Sellers must also supply prepaid labels quickly or face charges.

After the issue was reported by ABC’s KGO, Amazon apologized and cleared the packages from Kay’s home. Kay expressed deep gratitude that her concerns were finally addressed.
