We’ve all been there – walking away from a situation wishing we had come up with a witty comeback. But sometimes, we hear about someone who delivers a perfectly timed zinger that leaves us in awe.
On a recent flight, a gay flight attendant was serving passengers with his signature flair, putting everyone in a good mood. As the plane prepared to land, he made an announcement, campily warning passengers to put their trays up so the captain could “land the big scary plane.”
However, one passenger, an elegantly dressed young woman, refused to comply. The flight attendant politely reminded her to raise her tray, but she haughtily replied that she was a princess in her country and didn’t take orders from anyone.
The flight attendant, unfazed and quick-witted, shot back, “Well, sweet-cheeks, in my country, I’m called a Queen, so I outrank you. Tray up, Bitch.” The cabin erupted in laughter and applause, and the princess was left looking sheepish. It was a hilarious moment that showed that sometimes, a little sass and humor can go a long way in defusing a tense situation.
