Ralph settled into bed, gave his wife a gentle kiss on the cheek, and drifted off to sleep. But little did he know, his life was about to take a dramatic turn.
When Ralph awoke, he found himself standing before the Pearly Gates, face to face with St. Peter. The news he received was shocking: he had died in his sleep. Ralph was stunned, refusing to accept his fate. He begged St. Peter to send him back, citing all the things he still wanted to experience in life.
St. Peter, moved by Ralph’s determination, offered him a second chance. However, there was a catch: Ralph would have to return to earth as either a fish or a hen. After some deliberation, Ralph chose to become a hen, thinking it would be a relatively stress-free existence.
As Ralph navigated his new life as a hen, he encountered a friendly rooster who showed him the ropes. But despite his new surroundings, Ralph couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was off. It wasn’t until the rooster explained that he was ovulating that Ralph began to understand the strange sensations he was experiencing.
With the rooster’s guidance, Ralph successfully laid his first egg, and then another. The sense of accomplishment and joy he felt was overwhelming. But just as he was about to lay his third egg, he was abruptly awoken by his wife, who was frantically trying to rouse him from his sleep.
As Ralph sat up in bed, disoriented and confused, he realized that his entire experience as a hen had been just a dream. But the memory of his journey lingered, leaving him with a newfound appreciation for life and a sense of wonder at the strange and mysterious ways of the universe.
