Brad Pitt recently revealed a wild story about a moment on set that brought filming to a halt. On the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, Pitt shared how during a crowded café scene, he was “stuck in a chair” when an unexpected bodily reaction forced a pause in production.
The scene involved his character eating a huge plate of beans and bacon after days without food. Pitt, committed to authenticity, ate the entire dish multiple times for different takes. After the fourth take, he experienced a sudden physical issue that caused chaos on set. The crew described the situation as “diabolical,” and everyone quickly left the café.
Though Pitt didn’t name the film, many believe it was the 1991 indie “Johnny Suede,” which featured a similar scene. He admitted he’s learned to take it slower during such demanding scenes now.
Pitt also talked about his early days in Hollywood, recalling how he was starstruck meeting Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon on “Thelma & Louise.” That role helped launch his career.
The actor shared his passion for the Kansas City Chiefs and a humorous apology from Travis Kelce after a Super Bowl loss. Pitt reflected on how challenges in life and sports teach resilience and make success meaningful.
